Gold Hands offers bathroom remodeling in Southwest Ranches, FL — tile, showers, vanities, toilets, fixtures, glass enclosures, paint and drywall, plus grab bars for safer bathing. We quote per project after reviewing the photos and measurements you send by phone or WhatsApp, and the estimate is free. Homeowners, condo owners and landlords across Broward County use us for one bathroom or several.

A good bathroom remodel in Southwest Ranches is mostly about the parts nobody sees once it is finished: a properly sloped shower floor, waterproofing behind the tile, solid backing for grab bars and the glass door, and a fan that actually vents the moisture out. We pay attention to those first, then to the vanity, tile and fixtures that give the room its look.

Send photos and measurements to (786) 788-8714 by text or WhatsApp and we will build a free per-project estimate from them. Helpful shots include the shower or tub from straight on, the ceiling, the floor around the toilet and the inside of the vanity cabinet where the pipes come through. Write to us in Spanish or English, whichever is easier for your household.

Remodeling bathrooms on acreage and estate lots

Southwest Ranches was incorporated in 2000 to protect its rural, equestrian character: estates and ranch houses on lots often an acre or more, with barns, workshops and guest houses.

Owners on estate lots around the equestrian parcels and the eastern ranchettes often bundle bathrooms into one project: the primary bath, a guest bath and the guest house. Doing them together keeps the crew on one site, simplifies material orders and lets finishes repeat where you want them to. We price each bathroom separately inside the same estimate so you can decide what to do now and what to leave for later.

Distance matters on bigger properties. Guest houses and pool baths are often far from the main water heater, so hot water takes a long time to arrive. A remodel is a good moment to talk about a point-of-use water heater or a recirculating option, which is electrical and plumbing work that goes through our general contractor partner with a permit.

From tile to fixtures: the work we do in Southwest Ranches bathrooms

Most remodels combine several of the items below, and we list each one in the written scope so you know exactly what is and is not part of the project.

Bathroom Remodeling: levels & budget

Refresh

Quoted per project

New vanity, toilet, fixtures, lighting, mirror and paint on the existing layout, regrouting or a new tile floor.

Full remodel

Most projects $15,000–$30,000

Down to the studs: waterproofed walk-in shower or new tub, tile floor to ceiling, vanity, plumbing fixtures, glass and lighting.

Custom & luxury

$30,000+

Layout changes, curbless shower, custom glass, designer tile and niches, relocated plumbing — permitted through our GC partner.

Typical ranges, not a quote: your price is a written line-item quote after photos and measurements or a video call, approved before anything is ordered.

From photos to finished bathroom: our process

  1. Send photos and measurements by phone or WhatsApp. Wide shots of each wall, the floor and the ceiling help most. You receive a free estimate priced for the whole project, not by the hour.
  2. Agree on the plan in writing: the scope, the finishes you have chosen, which items you buy and which we source, and a schedule that accounts for special-order tile or glass.
  3. Handle permits: plumbing, electrical and layout changes are permitted work. Those permits are pulled by our general contractor partner with the Town of Southwest Ranches building department, and inspections are scheduled at the right stages of the job.
  4. Build the bathroom: the crew tears out, checks the framing and pipes it uncovers, waterproofs the wet areas, sets tile, installs the vanity, toilet, glass and fixtures, then paints and caulks.
  5. Walk through it together: we run the water, check for leaks and finish details with you, then send photos documenting the waterproofing, the finished room and care notes for grout and glass.

What sets the timeline for your bathroom

Hurricane season, June 1 through November 30, can shift a schedule. When a storm threatens, we secure the job and pause, and after a storm materials and inspections can run slower across South Florida. Planning a remodel for the drier months avoids some of that, but plenty of bathrooms are finished in summer too; we simply build some slack into the plan and keep you informed.

Bathroom Remodeling in Southwest Ranches — questions we get asked

Do you remodel guest house and pool bathrooms?

Yes. We remodel guest house, cabana and pool bathrooms, often in the same project as the main house. These rooms need slip-resistant tile, corrosion-resistant hardware and good ventilation. If the property is on septic or a private well, tell us, because adding fixtures can involve extra review; any permitted work goes through our general contractor partner.

Who buys the tile, vanity and fixtures?

Either way works. Many customers choose and buy their own tile, vanity and faucets, and we tell them exactly what quantities and extra parts to order. Others prefer that we source standard materials as part of the project. Special-order tile, stone tops and custom glass have lead times, so we confirm availability before setting the start date.

What happens to the old tub, tile and debris?

Demolition debris is part of the job. We bag or haul it away, follow any condo or HOA rules about where it can be staged, and use the service elevator or loading dock in buildings that require it. At the end of each day the work area is swept, and at the end of the job we clean the bathroom so it is ready to use.

What is not included in a bathroom remodel?

We do not fabricate stone countertops; a stone shop makes them and we coordinate the template and install. Permitted plumbing, electrical and layout changes go through our general contractor partner rather than our own crew. We also do not do large-scale mold remediation, which needs a specialist. Anything outside the written scope is discussed and agreed before it happens, never added quietly.

Do I need a permit to remodel my bathroom in Southwest Ranches?

It depends on the work. Moving plumbing, adding electrical circuits or changing the layout requires a building permit, and some jurisdictions also require one for certain replacements. When a permit applies, it is pulled by our general contractor partner with the Town of Southwest Ranches building department, and inspections are scheduled as the job progresses. The estimate tells you which parts of your project need it.
